I have been woodturning since I was 9 years old and full time professionally for 35 years. I was taught by my Grandfather who made a box for me to stand on so that I could reach the Lathe and he cut strips off the bottom as I grew.

Our family have been woodturners for over 300 years and originally worked as woodturners in mid Wales. The family were Quakers( a faith no longer followed) and moved to Birmingham, in the 1800's because of the freedom of worship in the City.

My workshop is now situated in Redditch. Unit 27 Padgets Lane, South Moons Moat, B98 0RB

We produce all types of Hand Woodturning and as you can see by the photo large batch work is no problem and some of my work goes to high quality contracts. Copying samples is a speciality and work for listed buildings is a regular while matching spindles for loft conversions is probably our biggest line.
